I have been training with Ais for close to 2 years. My intention of going to a gym is to lose weight. Some initial challenges include not being able to commit to going to a gym even if its more affordable to pay sign a monthy membership without a trainer. I knew i could not control my dietert and eating habits. My hobbies are sen hobbies but I catch up on Youtube videos or Kdramas during my free time besides my fulltime job. Ireally wanted to try personal training, but due to the high price point, I hesitated alot before signing up training lessons.

 

Ais made sure to know what we wanted and tailored training sessions in order to allow us to achieve our goals. I find the progressive overload program to be the most effective as the increase in weights i manage to lift is a sign that I'm stronger than when i first started. This also motivated me to want to try lifting heavier weights, but always reluctant to do so when i really have to do it 😅 Training sessions have always been personalised. As I'm attending training sessions together with my aunt, Ais will personalise it in terms of the weights we carry. I think that this is effective as there may be times where i find that the weight i'm carrying/lifting is not challenging enough for me to feel that my muscles are being activated. 

 

Ais keeps us motivated by constantly reminding us of the weight we carried/pushed/lifted when we first started training with her, as this shows that we are getting better and stronger in every session. Not only that, while doing a particular workout, she will compliment us whenever we got our forms right and also telling us we can do it whenever we are struggling to complete a set of workout. We started sending Ais out food everyday since January, in order for her to correct and advise us on what to eat for us to receive the nutrients we need. As a result, I was able to feel slight change in myself, like not being as sleepy during work as i was previously, because my sugar intake went down. it is also because of this, that made me think twice whenever i eat anything and also making me form a habit of considering if the food i'm eating is enough nutrients i need for the day. Ais' wants in genuinely helping us see results from the training, as well as her comments on our daily food intake makes me feel motivated to want to achieve my goal and not to waste the efforts i've put into training.

 

The training sessions started off not being consistent due to work commitments in the beginning and us not being able to sacrifice that bit to have more training sessions. Due to financial issues, i had to stop training once more. Up till then, there wasn't any improvements in terms of losing weight, of course, because of our inconsistency and not watching our diet. However, after being firm with ourselves and improving our eating habits, I managed to lose a few kg. What made me feel like i came to the right place is always whenever Ais provides us with advises, after listening to the concerns we have. She will explain if our concept/way of thinking is wrong and whenever we want to improve on certain aspects of ourselves, she will make suggestions on what we can try so that we can all see where and what is wrong. 

 

I would definitely recommend her services to others because training with her feels like working out with a friend instead of a "going through the motion" trainer. I can reall feel how genuine she is in wanting to help us achieve our goals. Action speaks louder than words. Instead of telling someone how good Ais' training is, I would only ask that people to try out the trial session to have a feel of how her training is like. In the past, I would think that exercising will tire me more afterwards but through this program, I enjoy exercising more and i get to enjoy the benefit the refreshing feeling post exercise
